Tagline: Time waits for no man... unless his name is JACK DETH!

Plot: 6 years after the events of the first movie, Jack Deth is challenged again.  This time it's the brother of the man he killed years earlier.

My rating: 6/10

Will I watch it again?  No.

I've been a big fan of TRANCERS (1985) for thirty years now but I don't think I ever saw any of the sequels.  This one has some returning faces which helps a lot.  I was surprised to see Helen Hunt back and have a substantial role (like in the first film) until I saw that it was the next year that she started on MAD ABOUT YOU, the show that catapulted her to stardom.  You can't go wrong with Richard Lynch as the bad guy.  I was surprised to see 60s Euro sexpot Martine Beswick in this with little to do.  A gig is a gig I guess.  Tim Thomerson is hilarious with a straight face here but he's not given as many funny lines as in the first movie (unless my memory is worse than I thought).  There's enough action to keep the pace going nicely and I wasn't bored for a moment.  It's an decent enough sequel even if it's not as good as the first one.  You can't expect too much.  I've got three more to go.  I just hope that Thomerson is given enough to do to make it worthwhile.
