Will I watch it again?  Probably not.

I REALLY liked the original, LET THE RIGHT ONE IN (2008), and this English remake is pretty damn good.  It stays true to RIGHT which shocked the hell out of me.  I'm very impressed.  The dark, meditative tone carries through to the end and that's thanks in no small part to Michael Giacchino's outstanding score (LOVE that guy's work).  The end is in tact and I'm really surprised that they at least attempted to let us in on Abby's secret although it was more discreet than in RIGHT.  I would almost say I'd watch it again but RIGHT does edge this one out and I would prefer to watch that one before this one.  If you haven't seen either then definitely check this one out.  It's a great, moody and atmospheric meditation vampire picture that will surely please even the gore hounds.  Vampires for the arthouse crwod.
