My rating: 5.5/10

Will I watch it again? No.

When you watch something like this it's always best to set your expectations low.

It's ultra low budget, 77 minutes long and it's got boobs and blood.  This rape revenge picture isn't all that bad for the first twenty or so minutes from the opening rape until Sarah's loaded for bear and on the hunt for the rapists. There's a montage where Sarah is finally home after taking her badly beaten husband to the hospital and she's going through her drawers while thinking fondly of a love making session she had with him at some point.  Hey, she did this for us.  It was a good opportunity for her to get topless (she still kept the thong on as she fucked him.  I know, right? That's weird.)

That was very thoughtful of her.  So now we know she's got the weaponry.  Earlier, before the rape when she and her husband were in the woods, she mentioned to him that she used to go on hunting trips.  OK, now we've got everything we need to know.  It's killin' time!

There's a lot more blood and guts than you would think...

That's just a smidgen of what's in this.  The gore is pretty good, too.  Lots of severed limbs and shit.  One of the things Sarah does to fuck with these guys is she kills rabbits and hangs their very bloody carcases from trees, one for each of the men, and they're clearly stuffed animals covered in fake blood.  It's hilarious.  There's a great twist near the end that was unexpected and really cool.  The problem is that there's an awful lot of padding.  This could probably be cut down to well under an hour and work better.  At least there'd be a lot less opportunity for boredom.   That's really the biggest issue I've got.  I'm OK with adequate acting, lighting, mechanics, etc as long as there's something on screen to hold my attention.  This is by no means a potentially great film. All the edits in the world won't save it but there is enough there to interest you here and there.
