Will I watch it again? I doubt it.

I really dig this cast.  Helen Mirren is awesome as always and Neal McDonough shows once again that he needs to be in everything.  He was a hoot.  The rest of the cast is fun.  I haven't seen the first film yet (the DVD is sitting on my shelf and I'll get to it eventually) and I enjoyed it at times.  There's nothing that can be taken seriously as it's pretty over the top (the scene where Mirren is firing blindly with her arms outstretecd to the car windows is laughably ridiculous and cartoonish).  The main reason I went to the theater was to see a buddy of mine who had a non-speaking bit part as a bartender.  That was cool as shit!  I had a huge grin on my face.  One more thing that I dug about it is that the top 13 billed actors are all over 40 and over half are over 50!  No 20-something hotties here.  I liked that most of all.  We need more pictures like this (but better made) that don't rely on some hot young actor that can't act.  So RED 2 was a fun ride but not one I'll likely get back in line for, but I will gladly give the first one a shot.
