The Woman Hunt (1973)

Director: Eddie Romero

Starring: John Ashley, Pat Woodell, Sid Haig, Charlene Jones, Lisa Todd, Laurie Rose, Ken Metcalfe, Eddie Garcia, Alona Alegre, Liza Belmonte, Lotis Key

More info: IMDb

Tagline: Women are made for men TO HUNT! Set your sights on the Tastiest Game of all.

Plot: Spiros and his sultry accomplice Magda run a highly profitable “funhouse” deep in the jungle. Government dignitaries are helicoptered in, and are encouraged to enjoy the hospitality and the girls. But on this occasion Spiros has planned something a little different…something a little more violent – a woman hunt. And this game of hide-and-seek is spiced with treachery and double-crossing, cobras and automatic rifles. Spiros knew the rules…but he didn’t know the players. And this orgy does not turn out quite as he intended…

My rating: 5.5/10

Will I watch it again? Nah.

#7 on Drive-In Delirium Volume 1 (part of the TRAILER TRASH PROJECT)

This is one of the many Women In Prison films made by New World Pictures in the 70s.  I think the story goes it was cheap to film in The Philipenes and they shot a lot of movies in a short amount of time, giving them their money's worth.  While this is middle of the road for the genre, it's got what you want...gratuitous nudity and from the first minute to the last minute.  There's no front-loading the tits on this picture; they're all over the place.  This scene is the best in the movie and it cracked me up.  I love this guy's delivery.

The big hunt doesn't happen until the last twenty minutes or so and it's not nearly as fun or exciting as it should have been.  If you can get through the slow first half the second half will at least try to make up for it.  The ending was great, though.  I loved it!  The way the villain is dispatched is unusual for this type of picture.  Unfortunately, that the abundance of fun bags can't overcome a somewhat dull movie.
