Directors: Michael Roesch & Peter Scheerer

More info: IMDb

Tagline: Never show pity.

Plot: A beautiful vampire slayer held prisoner by a powerful, blood-drinking king prepares to do battle with a force that sends even the children of the night scurrying into the shadows in this tale of bloodlust and mayhem starring Sid Haig, Ken Foree, Jason Connery, and Victoria Pratt. Bound in the cellar of vampire king Pashek and surrounded by creatures who would drain her dry without hesitation, vampire slayer Carrie Reiger (Pratt) knows that the time of reckoning is at hand. Somewhere, far away, the dreaded vampire demon Vlad Kossel has been resurrected. Should Carrie fail to free herself in time to take on her hellish opponent one on one, it could spell the end of not just the vampire population, but the human race as well.

My rating: 5/10

Will I watch it again? No.

I don't think I've seen anything with Jason "son of Sean" Connery.  Now I have.  Throw in names like Sid Haig and Ken Foree and this seemed like a good idea at the time.  In hindsight it wasn't a good idea to watch it.  It's OK.  The acting is OK at best and there's guy in his teens (can't remember his name) who was pretty bad.  Sid Haig's hardly in it.  Every once in a while you can sense from Jason he's the son of Bond and Foree has quite a bit to do.  Victoria Pratt did the best she could with what she had but the film can't escape its budget and technicians behind the camera.  The synth score was typical BUT, and this is a HUGE but, it was present throughout most of the movie and it really went a long way from keeping the picture from slowing down further.  Major points to whoever wanted a lot of score because it felt like the single biggest contribution in the positive column.  It's low budget vampire escapism but that's about it.  I can't recommend it on any level.
