My rating: 7.5/10

Will I watch it again? Nah.

Jack Nicholson plays a great lovable asshole.  I really liked this picture. It's funny but in a dark, sad way.  The movie is leisurely paced and Schmidt's interactions with all kinds of people he meets on his journey is some damn funny stuff which culminates with his meeting the mother of his daughter's soon-to-be husband played hilariously by Kathy Bates.  The infamous hot tub scene is worth the price of admission.  Kathy Bates gets full on naked and it's wonderful but not in any kind of sexual way.  That she bared all, albeit briefly, for the camera puts her at the top of the "Actors with huge balls" list.  That just makes her even more awesome than she already was.  Fun flick.
