My rating: 8/10

Will I watch it again? Yeah.

I'm going to be short on this one. Anyone familiar with Raimi's EVIL DEAD films has seen this and there's nothing I could ever add that hasn't been said a gazillion times. Joseph LoDuca's score is great. That probably doesn't get mentioned much. This flick is loaded with Bruce Campbell goodness from start to finish. He's nailed the Ash character to the back wall and he's having a ball. "Groovy" and "Gimme some sugar, Baby!" are delivered with such cheeseball fun that you can't help but laugh your ass off and wish you were there along side him. Campbell is delightful to watch and the special effects, in following with the tradition of the two previous entries, outstanding, practical and fun.

I've got the 'Boomstick Edition' which has both the director's cut and the theatrical cut. I think I prefer the latter and I know I definitely like the theatrical cut's ending better than the bleaker, less fun Twilight Zone ending of the DC. Though we'll never see Bruce back as that character in a fourth EVIL DEAD film, at least we've got three super fun flicks that will live on forever, no matter how many drops of time potion you take.
