Plot: A cruel circus owner beats and abuses his pregnant wife. One day the circus receives a leopard newly captured in Africa, but the animal soon dies. However, an evil creature that was inside the leopard bursts out of the animal's body, burrows into the wife's body and takes over her fetus. It soon starts demanding blood, and the woman goes searching for victims for her new "baby."

My rating: 6.5/10

Will I watch it again? Oui!

After an OK start, things start to really pick up once Yanka's unborn child starts talking to her. I think that happens about 20 minutes in. After that it's a pretty fun ride to the finish.

AHHHHH!

OK, that's better.

There are a TON of kills and gore that will satisfy that type of horror fan. Man, this flick is bloody. It's got some very dark humor, too, which goes a long way. Part of the fun is how adult and sinister the voice of the fetus is (I watched the English dub). He needs blood to survive and it's up to Yanka to provide for it. It's kind of a like a really dark LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS but without the plant.

There are some slow spots which keeps this from rating higher but the sheer amount of gory kills, and the occasional bits of nudity make this a must see for fans of the genre. It's sick, twisted and fun.
