Tagline: Step Through "The Time Portal" beyond the crack in Space and Time where the fantastic world of the Future will freeze your blood with its weird horrors!

Plot: In 1964, a team of scientists are trying to develop a view screen into the future. What they in fact get is a portal and they soon find themselves on the other side, 127 years into the future when the portal collapses. Meanwhile, always under the threat of attack from the mutants , friendships are formed and they learn of life in the future including the use of robots for menial tasks.

My rating: 6/10

Will I watch it again? Sure.

#9 on SCI-FI TRAILERS VOLUME 9 & 10 (part of the TRAILER TRASH PROJECT)

Well this was a pleasant surprise. What sounded like a silly Saturday afternoon matinee kiddie show sci-fi flick turned out to have some cool ideas, neat special effects and ended up being a fun ride. It only took 10 minutes for things to get rolling and travel to the future. The next 70 minutes has all kinds of goodies.

Mmmmmm. I just found a bevy of future gals that need to have my babies. We'll need them to populate the planet we're leaving Earth for. That's as risque this picture gets and I was completely taken off guard. This flick works for the adults just as much for the kids.

Ib Melchior and company aren't content to give you promises they can't keep. Noooo, they're going to give you some things to think about. This isn't some cheap-o stinker you'd find at the drive-in, made to get your dough and kill 90 minutes. THE TIME TRAVELERS throws in things like social issues, right and wrong, shit like that. It's a reasonably well-paced film although there are a few scenes that go on an extra couple of minutes too long and those minutes add up. Trim another ten minutes or so and you've got yourself an easily digestible fun piece of sci-fi for the whole family.

Due to the overwhelming response I've received by the fathers out there since this post began, we're going to show you the bathing scene one more time.

Oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooh!
