My rating: 7/10

Will I watch it again? Sure.

I love these action/adventure movies of the 30s. Sure, they're all filmed on sets but, man, what sets! This was shot by the same behind and in front of the camera folks who made KING KONG the next year. The movie's about an hour long and it's halfway through before we get into the hunt but that's OK because the jungle scenes are very cool, much like in KONG. Any fan of KONG needs to see this one if for no other reason than to see the progression of the film makers that would go on to make one of the greatest adventure films of all time.
